Role : Cloud Security Engineer (Wiz)
Location: – Remote
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Security & Wiz Operations
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Wiz security policies, rules, and controls
- Monitor, triage, and prioritize Wiz findings related to vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and identity risks
- Coordinate remediation efforts with engineering teams and track resolution through closure
- Tune Wiz alerts to reduce noise and improve actionable insights
- Maintain cloud security documentation, evidence, and compliance reports
- Support audits and compliance activities aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and HITRUST
- Generate regular security posture and risk reports for stakeholders
- Partner with cloud and platform engineering teams to implement secure cloud configurations
- Provide guidance on cloud security best practices and compensating controls
- Support incident response activities related to Wiz-detected findings and cloud security events
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, risk management, and best practices
- Experience working with cloud security tools (CSPM, CNAPP, vulnerability management platforms)
