About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer with expertise in Symfony framework to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis. This role is designed for a professional with 5-6 years of relevant experience who can work remotely from anywhere in India. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that meet our clients' needs. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend solutions, integrate with front-end components, and optimize database performance.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing modern development frameworks and technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of database design, REST API development, and frontend integration using React. The contract is initially for two months with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in PHP development, with a proven track record working with the Symfony framework. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in PostgreSQL database design and optimization, as well as experience building responsive user interfaces with React. Strong knowledge of REST API development and application integration is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are also critical.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and Symfony framework.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate React-based user interfaces with backend services.
• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures to ensure high performance.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs for seamless application integration.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain documentation of technical specifications, application architecture, and development processes.
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions within deadlines.
