The Trading Research & Development division is the heartbeat of our innovation. It consists of four core departments: Sports Math Models, Trading Tools and Algorithms, Trading Interfaces, and Analytics. Our focus is on creating sophisticated sports betting models, automated trading algorithms, user-friendly trading interfaces, and comprehensive analytics tools.

Job Description:

We are looking for Full Stack Data Scientists to join our Sports Math Models and Trading Tools &

Algorithms departments. The ideal candidates will be at the intersection of data science, data engineering, software development, and mathematics, with a fervent interest in sports and betting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine sports betting models, both Monte Carlo simulators and deterministic types.
• Engineer comprehensive sporting datasets for machine learning models.
• Design and implement automated trading algorithms and machine learning tools.
• Contribute to the development of trading interfaces and data parsers.
• Collaborate in building analytics dashboards and player segmentation models.
• Engage in problem-solving and innovation within a team environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years in a similar role.
• Strong experience in Data Science, preferably with Python proficiency.
• Programming knowledge in Python, C#, or GoLang.
• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Demonstrated skills in Game Theory.
• Experience or understanding of sports betting, card counting, or competitive gaming (Poker,
• Backgammon, Magic the Gathering, Bridge, etc.).
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Fluent in conversational English.
• Ability and willingness to relocate to Costa Rica.
• Team player with experience in an Agile work environment.
