Job Description


This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer - Advanced Analytics in the United States.

This role is ideal for a data engineering professional passionate about designing and implementing scalable, high-quality data solutions that drive actionable business insights. You will work with large, complex datasets from cloud and legacy systems, developing integration pipelines, maintaining data quality, and supporting advanced analytics initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring data is well-modeled, governed, and easily accessible for analytics and decision-making. You will apply modern ETL processes, cloud architectures, and advanced analytics techniques to enable accurate, timely insights. The role emphasizes both technical excellence and the ability to support business outcomes in a remote, dynamic environment.

Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines across cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Lead and support data engineering implementation efforts, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain data catalogs, mappings, and comprehensive integration documentation.
  • Participate in design reviews, data profiling, and deployment activities to ensure robust solutions.
  • Define and enforce data standards to ensure governed, accurate, and auditable data.
  • Support go-live activities and continuous improvement of data quality.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to enable actionable insights and support business decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of database development experience (Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • 5+ years of designing and coding ETL workflows (Matillion preferred; Informatica, Ab Initio, DataStage also acceptable).
  • Strong experience in data modeling, integration pipelines, and cloud data architectures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, ESRI, or Workforce is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
