Job Description
Position: Network Security Analyst
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Full-time
We are looking between 4 to 6 people in with the below qual.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in network security.
- Certified expertise in Palo Alto Networks, F5
- Experience with regulated utilities is a plus
- Experience working with Network/Security Operations Center
- Familiar with security standards such as NIST 800-53 and NERC CIP
- fluent in English
- Must be a US Citizen
- Candidate must be located in the US
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring network and system health (uptime, latency, packet loss)
- Alert triage (deciding what’s critical vs noise)
- Incident response (outages, performance degradation)
- Basic troubleshooting (connectivity, VPN issues, firewall blocks)
- Escalation to L2/L3 engineers or vendors when needed
- Change monitoring during upgrades or maintenance windows
- Reporting on SLAs, uptime, and incidents
