Job Summary (List Format)
- Serve as an Azure Engineer for the State of Mississippi, working 100% remote.
- Implement and manage landing zone architecture in Microsoft Azure using Terraform.
- Provision, configure, monitor performance, enforce policy governance, and ensure security within the Azure cloud environment.
- Analyze and improve existing operational standards, processes, and governance.
- Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines for automated and consistent platform deployments.
- Manage security and access controls for cloud-based solutions.
- Automate processes and manage the lifecycle of infrastructure.
- Utilize GIT for source code management.
- Collaborate with, mentor, and support teammates and cross-functional partners.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with strong attention to detail.
- (Preferred) Apply knowledge of Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure, security concepts, and access control.
- (Preferred) Understand Azure Active Directory integration, network planning (CIDR, vNet gateways), and use native Azure monitoring/logging services.
