This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing paid search team within a fast-paced, results-driven marketing environment. The Senior Manager will oversee strategy, execution, and optimization across paid search campaigns, ensuring measurable growth for clients. You will collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-channel teams to drive innovative solutions, improve campaign performance, and deliver actionable insights. In addition to managing budgets and bid strategies, you will mentor team members, foster professional development, and help scale best practices across campaigns. This role emphasizes analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance client needs with team growth and innovation. Remote work flexibility allows you to operate effectively while maintaining strong client and team relationships.
Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of paid search campaigns, including strategy, launch, and ongoing optimization.
- Partner with clients and internal teams to identify growth opportunities, present optimizations, and implement campaigns.
- Manage a team of paid search marketers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Oversee budgets, bid strategies, and campaign KPIs to maximize ROI and meet client objectives.
- Drive innovation through testing ad copy, keywords, landing pages, and third-party tools.
- Collaborate with cross-channel teams to ensure integrated marketing strategies and shared insights.
- Support client education, providing actionable recommendations, reports, and data-driven insights.
- 7–10 years of experience in paid search with demonstrated success managing campaigns of $1M+ budgets.
- 2–3 years of team management experience preferred.
- Google Ads Search Certification required; additional certifications (Display, Video, App, Shopping) preferred.
- Experience with advanced campaign types such as PMAX, Display, Video, App, and Shopping campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting and analytics tools to drive marketing decisions.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills to manage multiple clients and priorities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to guide team members and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Competitive salary: USD $100,000 – $120,000, plus performance-based incentives and RevShare opportunities.
