Application Engineer (AE) for High-Performance Computing Devices

A semiconductor client in the Bay Area is looking for an Application Engineer (AE) with a solid background in electronics engineering, SW development and hands-on experience in testing digital/highspeed digital devices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), specifically utilizing Advantest's V93000 hardware and SmarTest 8 software. This role will be critical in developing, implementing, and optimizing test solutions for next-generation high performance computing devices. This will be a fully on-site role M-F at the San Jose office with 15% travel).

This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a starting base salary range estimated between $110K-$160K + 25-30% semi annual bonuses (total compensation range $140K - $210K+). Other benefits include medical benefits, health savings, 401k, monthly car allowance as well as paid vacation, paid sick time and paid holidays. Will offer relocation assistance to San Jose, CA if needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.

• 3+ years in IC test or application development.

• Experience with V93000 (V93k) SmarTest 7/8 (SMT7/8) and bench instruments.

• C++ or Java programming skills.
