Freelance Digital / UI Designer (Figma)
Looking for a fast-paced freelance Digital / UI role where you can quickly make an impact on a live website project? This is a short-term, fully remote opportunity to support a creative agency on a website reskin for a well-established brand within the insurance / finance space.
You’ll be working with a collaborative agency team who already have brand guidelines and Figma assets in place, giving you a strong foundation to deliver polished, user-focused designs efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for a confident Digital / UI Designer who enjoys working autonomously, responding to feedback, and delivering high-quality visuals to tight timelines.
Job Summary
An established creative agency is looking for a Freelance Digital / UI Designer to support a website reskin project. The work will involve applying a new brand identity to an existing site, evolving content and structure, and delivering final page visuals ready for development. You’ll be brought in at the visual design stage, working primarily in Figma, with a clear scope and quick turnaround.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing high-quality digital page visuals in Figma
- Applying new brand guidelines across an existing website
- Supporting changes to content hierarchy and site structure
- Producing initial visual concepts and iterating based on client feedback
- Delivering final, developer-ready designs within agreed timelines
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Digital / UI Designer working in Figma
- Experience working on websites within insurance, finance or closely related sectors
- Strong understanding of layout, hierarchy and user experience principles
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines
- Confident responding to client feedback and refining designs
Project Scope & Duration
- Website reskin project
- Approx. 3 days for initial visuals
- Client feedback period of approx. 1 week
- Approx. 3 days for updates and final visuals
- 1 week initial engagement
Day Rate: £400 a day
Location & Workplace Policy
- Fully remote
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Start Date: Monday 26th
