An innovative technology company operating in the wind energy space is looking to add an experienced AI practitioner to their growing team. This position focuses on designing and deploying intelligent automation systems, with particular emphasis on language-based AI technologies and autonomous agent development.

What You'll Be Doing

Working hands-on with cutting-edge AI technologies to solve real-world engineering challenges. You'll adapt and deploy sophisticated machine learning systems to meet specific operational requirements, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to embed intelligence into existing platforms. The role involves substantial data work – interpreting complex datasets to inform model training and refinement – alongside ensuring deployed systems perform reliably at scale. You'll also contribute to maintaining ethical standards and regulatory compliance across all AI implementations.

What We're Looking For

Candidates should bring at least three years' experience in applied machine learning or AI development. Strong coding ability is essential, particularly in Python, along with solid grounding in ML algorithms, neural networks, and data processing techniques. Familiarity with modern AI toolkits and transformer-based architectures is important. Beyond technical skills, we value clear communicators who can translate complex concepts for varied audiences and work effectively across departments.

A relevant degree in computing, data science, or a related discipline is expected, alongside genuine enthusiasm for keeping pace with this rapidly evolving field.

Location & Flexibility

This role offers genuine flexibility. International candidates are welcomed – the company provides full sponsorship for work permits and a €5,000 relocation package to help you settle in. Alternatively, for the right candidate, fully remote arrangements can be considered with periodic visits to the Riga headquarters for team collaboration and key meetings.

The Package

Annual compensation ranges from €54,000 to €84,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health cover, modern office facilities in the Latvian capital, generous leave allowances including study time, and a supportive team culture with regular social events.
