Alife Health builds AI-powered software for fertility clinics. Our platform integrates new and complex data streams to support and optimize clinical decision-making across ovarian stimulation, embryo grading, and overall clinic operations.

We are looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer to join our growing team in Europe. You’ll work across the stack to design, build, and maintain high-quality software systems used in healthcare environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and solving complex problems in a regulated domain.
What You’ll Do- Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications (frontend + backend)
- Build scalable, secure, and reliable systems suitable for healthcare use cases
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to define and deliver features
- Contribute to system architecture, technical decisions, and code reviews
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Participate in improving engineering processes, tooling, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with healthcare-related requirements (e.g. data privacy, security)
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer working across the stack
- Strong proficiency in modern backend and frontend technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React)
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with software quality practices: testing, CI/CD, code reviews
- Ability to work independently in a remote or distributed team
- Prior experience in the healthcare or health-tech industry (strongly preferred)
- Exposure to healthcare standards, compliance, or regulated environments
- Experience with data-heavy or analytics-driven applications
- DevOps or infrastructure-as-code experience
- Work on meaningful problems that impact healthcare and patient outcomes
