We are a small mobile game studio with a live Unity product and a team of around 25 people worldwide, with a core team in Israel and distributed team members across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Our game creates direct real-world impact: players interact with real shelter dogs, and their in-game progress results in tangible support delivered to shelters, such as food, medicine and essential supplies - the work we do every day affects animals beyond the screen.

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Artist to take ownership of the technical execution of art in our Unity-based mobile game.
In this role, you’ll sit between art and frontend development, ensuring assets are implemented efficiently, visuals maintain high quality, and everything performs well on mobile devices. You’ll work closely with the Art Director and frontend developers to bring content into the game in a clean, scalable way.

Responsibilities:
- Implement UI, 2D/3D assets, animations, and VFX in Unity
- Set up and maintain materials, shaders, particles, animations, prefabs, and asset import settings
- Optimize shaders, textures, VFX, and atlases for mobile performance
- Ensure visuals are consistent, production-ready and compatible with existing UI
- Build and maintain a clear art/Unity pipeline for a live mobile game, including:
- Asset standards and performance safety
- Naming conventions and scalable project structure
- Support artists technically, reduce frontend developer workload, and collaborate with art and dev teams to resolve visual and technical issues
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience working as a Technical Artist in Unity, including building or improving art pipelines in Unity-based games; preferably in startup or live-product environments
- Strong understanding of URP, real-time rendering, and mobile performance
- Practical experience with uGUI, Shader Graph, VFX Graph, and Unity animation systems
- Experience in implementing and optimizing game assets, including:
- 3-slice and 9-slice UI
- Atlases and spritesheets
- Fonts setup and management
- Handling mobile-safe areas and notches
- Able to turn animatics and static design mocks or storyboards into clean in-engine results
- A good mix of visual sense and technical problem-solving
- Organized, pragmatic, and able to work within existing dev practices
- Clear communication skills and professional English
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Sheets, Docs and Slack/Discord
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) as part of daily workflow
Bonus:
- Shader coding experience (HLSL / GLSL)
- Experience with Maya or Blender, Substance Painter
- Spine or other 2D animation tools
- Basic C# scripting
- You love dogs and care about animals
