Are you a DevSecOps Engineer who thrives at the intersection of security, infrastructure and cutting edge technology? A fast growing deep tech organisation working on advanced decentralised applications, blockchain networks and SaaS platforms is seeking an experienced DevSecOps professional to strengthen its engineering and security capabilities. You will collaborate directly with highly regarded cryptographers and senior engineers and play a vital role in maintaining the reliability, resilience and security of mission critical cryptographic solutions.

Security Integration

• Implement security best practices across blockchain networks, smart contracts, key management systems and web applications.

• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans and penetration tests across all components and environments.

• Integrate security tooling and automated checks into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous security validation.

Monitoring and Incident Response

• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting and logging systems for blockchain and web security events.

• Develop security incident response processes, contribute to on call rotations and ensure high availability and fast recovery.

Collaboration and Documentation

• Work closely with development, platform and security teams to identify risks early and influence secure design decisions.

• Produce clear documentation covering security practices, incident response procedures and infrastructure configurations.

Compliance and Governance

• Ensure deployments align with industry recognised security standards and regulatory requirements including ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.

• Support internal and external audits, address recommendations and champion compliance across engineering.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or a related subject.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps and security engineering environments.

Technical Skill Set

• Strong understanding of secure SDLC principles and embedding security throughout software delivery.

• Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure/ web3 infrastructure and professional experience with this.

• Hands on experience with security tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP.

• Good knowledge of security frameworks, governance models and best practice.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced and innovative setting.

Bonus points

• Certifications in DevOps, Security or Blockchain such as CKA, CISSP or CBP.

• Experience in cryptography, blockchain infrastructure or distributed systems.
