We’re looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to serve as a technical authority over our core infrastructure and security platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing, securing, and operating enterprise systems while mentoring others and partnering closely with IT leadership.
What you’ll do
• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure (Windows and/or Linux)
• Own core services including Active Directory / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, storage, and certificates
• Implement and enforce infrastructure security controls, patching, and least-privilege access
• Support SOC 2 compliance and penetration testing through hands-on technical contributions
• Build automation using PowerShell/Bash to improve reliability and reduce operational risk
• Design and validate backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
• Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and perform root-cause analysis
• Mentor IT Support staff and provide technical leadership across the organization
What we’re looking for
• 5+ years of enterprise systems administration experience
• Strong experience with Windows Server, VMware (preferred), and Veeam (preferred)
• Solid networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP; SonicWall a plus)
• Experience with monitoring and incident response (ManageEngine preferred)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid identity environments
• Comfortable operating independently in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
