Prepress Operator
Join Millennium Print Group as a Prepress Operator S2!
We’re looking for a skilled Prepress Operator to join our team in Raleigh, NC. If you’re passionate about print production, file preparation, and quality-driven work, this is your opportunity to support world-class products printed for globally recognized brands.
Location: Raleigh, NC
Schedule: Full-time | Onsite | Nights 7:00pm -7:00am on a 2,2,3,2 rotation
Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay + overtime eligibility + comprehensive benefits package
What You’ll Do
- Prepare print-ready files by reviewing customer artwork for accuracy, specifications, and quality
- Preflight files and resolve routine prepress issues prior to production
- Create layouts and impositions using prepress and layout software
- Process files using Kodak Prinergy and related prepress systems
- Produce proofs and plates for production approval
- Collaborate with Client Services and Account Management to resolve file discrepancies
- Maintain high quality standards while supporting on-time production schedules
- Follow safety, quality, and ISO-compliant work practices
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in a commercial print or prepress environment
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Experience with Kodak Prinergy/Insite, prepress workflows, and print file preparation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to as much as 60 pounds occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently
- Passion for Cards: Deliver precise, high-quality print files that meet exact customer specifications
- Dedicated to Quality and Safety: Maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance throughout the prepress process
- Challenging the Expected: Identify opportunities to improve file quality, efficiency, and workflow
