Main goal
The EURO ICT Hardware Specialist will work closely with UEFA's workplace and ICT teams to prepare and deliver all ICT hardware for UEFA EURO 2028. A behind-the-scenes role that everyone relies on, you will work at the heart of a major international sporting event, overseeing complex ICT hardware operations to ensure seamless reliability across all venues, from preparation to post-event dismantling.
Key Responsibilities
Planning stage
- Continuously assessing the hardware and software needs of UEFA EURO 2028 by meeting business counterparts regularly
- Centralising and managing all IT purchase requisitions for the UEFA EURO 2028 venues and UEFA campus
- Coordinating with suppliers and partners to ensure hardware availability, stock readiness and logistics alignment
- Overseeing stock management activities for the UEFA EURO 2028 venues and the UEFA campus
- Helping to define provisioning strategies with the workplace management and procurement teams
- Monitoring the project context (budget, geopolitical constraints, risks) to ensure effective follow up and reporting
- Acting as the single point of contact for all hardware and software requests and related issues
- Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of ICT assets across UEFA EURO 2028 venues and the UEFA campus
- Ensuring that the ICT support operations teams are informed, trained and working in alignment with hardware and software strategies
- Managing and ensuring the effectiveness of the UEFA EURO 2028 asset management lifecycle
- Supporting dismantling operations, ensuring that assets are returned, inventoried and reallocated correctly
- Producing reports and contributing to project debriefs, highlighting lessons learned and improvement areas
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of three years’ relevant IT experience
- Project management experience
- Good knowledge of enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions
- Technical IT diploma
- IT or project management certification is a plus
- English / Proficient
- French or any other languages is a plus
- Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
- MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
