Technical Architect Network Infrastructure (CCIE Certified-Lab)

Location: New York, NY (Relocation/Local preferred)

Experience: 12+ Years (Minimum 8 years in specialized Engineering)

Role Overview

As a Technical Architect, you will lead the design, development, and migration of complex Campus and Data Center (DC) networks. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of network solutions, from identifying edge-device communication scenarios to overseeing large-scale analytics and data aggregation testing. This role requires a "lab-certified" expert capable of navigating deep architectural challenges in dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 environments.

Technical Domain Expertise

  • Routing & Switching: Expert-level proficiency in BGP (Complex troubleshooting), OSPF, Spanning Tree (STP), and advanced Multicast (IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, RP-Anycast).
  • Hardware Stack: Hands-on design and troubleshooting for Cisco (ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus 9K) and Arista platforms.
  • Overlay & Security: Deep knowledge of VXLAN, DMVPN, and IPsec tunnels.
  • Network Services: Strong functioning knowledge of Cisco ISE, TACACS+, and DNS/DHCP integration.
  • Physical Layer: Expertise in high-speed optics and cabling (10G through 100G), including breakout panels and cable management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design: Develop scalable solutions for Campus and DC environments using IPv4 and IPv6.
  • IoT Integration: Troubleshoot and optimize network connectivity for IoT devices and sensor arrays.
  • Migration Leadership: Lead complex network migrations with minimal downtime.
  • Automation: Utilize Ansible for network automation and configuration management (Highly Preferred).
  • Validation: Create and execute testing protocols for data gathering and network analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Certification: CCIE Lab Certification is mandatory.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in enterprise-grade environments.
