At Icalia Labs, we design and build software products that are thoughtful, usable, and ready for real-world implementation. We work closely across product, design, and engineering to ship software that makes sense for users and for developers.
We’re looking for a Digital Product Designer (UI/UX) to join our team full time for a 3-month engagement, working directly on active software development projects.
This is a hands-on, collaborative role for a designer who enjoys working with developers, understands modern product workflows, and knows how to turn ideas into buildable interfaces.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing UI/UX for software products (web and applications).
- Turning product requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Creating and evolving design systems used across products.
- Building interactive prototypes in Figma for validation and development.
- Using Figma Dev Mode to give developers everything they need to build confidently (components, specs, spacing, tokens, assets).
- Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and Scrum teams.
- Participating in Scrum / Agile ceremonies and product discussions.
- Iterating designs based on feedback, constraints, and product goals.
- Using AI tools for design to support ideation and execution.
- Making sure designs are consistent, usable, and accessible.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of experience UI/UX design for software development projects.
- Working within Scrum / Agile teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with Figma, including:
- High-fidelity prototyping
- Component-based design
- Auto Layout
- Dev Mode for developer handoff
- Experience creating and working with Design Systems.
- Experience collaborating directly with developers.
- Practical experience using AI tools in your design workflow.
- A portfolio that shows product thinking and implementation-ready design.
- Professional-level English.
- Availability to work full time for 3 months.
