Founding AI Engineer - InsurTech Startup

AI Engineer | YC-Backed InsurTech | Founding Team | £90K-£165K + Equity

I'm working with an exceptional YC-backed InsurTech in London that's gone from £0 to multi-million ARR in just 12 months and is looking for AI Engineers to join their founding engineering team.

Despite being early-stage, they're already punching well above their weight – with major UK insurers onboarded and serious production systems live at scale. This is a rare opportunity to get in at the ground floor of something special.

What you'll be doing:

• Building AI agents and LLM-powered workflows that process real insurance claims
• Working directly with founders and insurance specialists to solve complex automation challenges
• Taking real ownership over AI architecture and technical decisions
• Shaping the AI/ML engineering culture from day one
• Building systems that directly impact major enterprise customers

The tech:

• Python
• LLMs / LangChain
• Next.js / Node.js
• GCP
• Production AI systems at scale
