OmniStreak is a fully remote, high-performing team of skilled consultants providing integrated full-stack web engineering solutions, with one of our projects being a scalable LMS platform hosting over 1,000,000 active users and OmniStreak being known as a trusted, deeply integrated web engineering force in enterprise-level circles.

Role Details

We are seeking an ongoing collaboration with a proactive, efficient, communicative, and highly organized Full-Stack Web Developer with a strong understanding of JavaScript (Vanilla and React), Core PHP, WordPress, and API Integrations, and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience conducting active development of software projects remotely in an agency environment.

Please do not apply if you don't have at least 3 years of direct experience on agency and client projects with back-end and front-end development.

Important to Know

• As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be expected to handle both Back-End and Front-End tasks.
• This high-profile, demanding, and engaging position requires proactive and active engagement with all aspects of front-end and back-end development.
• As an OmniStreak Engineer, you must scope your tasks and projects, providing viable solutions.
• You and you alone will be responsible for your output and results.

Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience working remotely with mid to large-scale websites and web apps
• Strong understanding of and practical experience with core (vanilla) JavaScript

• Strong understanding of and practical experience with core (vanilla) PHP
• Excellent knowledge of and practical experience working with SQL databases
• Practical experience working with API Integrations
• Excellent knowledge of Git/code versioning practices
• Excellent OOP understanding

Responsibilities

• Work remotely and responsibly without active oversight
• Conducting QA of your code before you share it with the managers and the QA Team
• Active development and support of enterprise-level websites and web applications
• Active feature development (JS-based applications, LMS, PHP apps)
• Internal and external API development and integrations

Nice to have

• Portfolio of active (online) projects that you were involved in at the agency or client level
• Excellent written and spoken English (business level)
• Understanding of Python and Django
• Agency experience
• Experience working with Jira
• Excellent understanding of HTML5/CSS3 and responsive practices (this is a full-stack position)
• Solid interest or experience with JS Frameworks (React, Next)

Our Process

You will be meeting with OmniStreak's Operations Manager as an initial call with the whole process outlined as follows (only candidates that we deem applicable will be moved to the next step):

• Meeting with our Project Managers and the Technical Lead
• Receive an offer for a fixed, compensated 5 to 10-day test period (test/fit period)
• If you qualify, you will receive a new contract for a 1-month period after which we'll proceed with extensions depending on your performance.
