Full Stack Software Engineer (Remote)

Description

We're looking for a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our fully remote team. You'll work hands-on across the stack using Next.js, Node.js, .NET/C#, and TypeScript to build performant, secure, and scalable web applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems with modern technologies and collaborating closely with product and design teams.

You must be based in Ireland

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js, Node.js, .NET/C#, and TypeScript
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces for customer-facing eCommerce platforms
• Implement backend services and APIs using REST and GraphQL
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using frameworks such as Jest, xUnit, or NUnit
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability

• Integrate with third-party platforms and services
• Work with cloud-native components including Azure Functions, Service Bus, and event-driven architecture
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and automated testing and deployment pipelines
• Participate in the team's on-call support rota, with coverage mostly focused on daytime hours

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
• Solid experience with Next.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Backend development experience with .NET/C#
