IT Support Technician (Mid–Senior) – VoIP Required

Fully Remote (El Salvador) | Contractor

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced IT Support Technician with hands-on VoIP support experience to support a U.S.-based organization. This is not a junior role. The ideal candidate understands structured IT environments and has supported business phone systems in production. This role is fully remote and offered on a contractor basis, with payments made directly to a bank account in El Salvador.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1–1.5 IT & VoIP support
• Own tickets end-to-end with clear communication
• Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, peripherals
• Troubleshoot VoIP and call quality issues
• Escalate to internal L2 support when required
• Maintain clean documentation

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• 3+ years IT support experience
• Hands-on VoIP support experience (any platform)
• Strong English proficiency (~85%+)
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Reliable WFH setup

VoIP Experience (Required)

• Hosted PBX or SIP systems
• Softphones or desk phones
