Job Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer who can work full-time with MetBrains and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of robust software systems. Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers
- Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
- Implement secure and reliable backend and/or frontend solutions
- Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Detailed Job Description – Software Engineer
Technical Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end software solutions using modern programming languages
- Build APIs, services, and modules that integrate with existing systems
- Work with databases, application servers, and cloud-based infrastructure
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance
- Follow SDLC processes including design, development, testing, and deployment
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with cross-border teams within the APAC region
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and reviews
- Support production deployments and post-release improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, etc.)
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Experience with REST APIs, databases, and application development
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
