Job Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Accuracy
• Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees in accordance
with company policies and applicable laws.
• Review pre-processing and post-processing reports to identify and correct errors before
finalizing payroll.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure timely Payroll funding and proper GL entries.
• Enter validate changes such as new hires, terminations, rate changes, and special
payments (differentials, etc.).
Time & Attendance Management
• Verify Overtime, shift differentials, premium pay, PTO, and unpaid time in line with
federal/state wage and hour rules.
• Partner with manager to resolve discrepancies in timecards and ensure approvals are
complete on schedule.

• Reconcile time and attendance data from the timekeeping system (ADP WFM) for all
shifts
Reporting & Year-End Activities
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc payroll reports for HR, Accounting & Finance, and
management (e.g., headcount, overtime, labor cost).• Implement with month-end and year-end close activities related to payroll expenses and
accruals.
• Complete year-end processes including W-2 review, reconciliation, and distribution.
Process Improvement & Systems Support
• Participate in testing and implementation of payroll system updates, changes, and
enhancements.
• Provide Service to HR and relevant department on system or policy changes needed to
improve data accuracy and user experience.
Experience Requirements / Competencies
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree (degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business
administration or finance) or equivalent practical experience
• Required more than 3-5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a high - volume, hourly
manufacturing or industrial environment
• Working knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations (e.g., overtime,
meal/rest periods, shift premiums)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large date sets and reports
