Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented Test Automation Engineer with strong manual testing expertise and solid automation experience. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in web, API, database, and mobile application testing, along with strong Python programming skills. This role requires someone who can take ownership of quality, collaborate closely with engineering teams, and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough manual testing to ensure product quality across web, API, and mobile platforms.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Playwright with real project level experience.
• Conduct API testing with a strong focus on GraphQL, along with Postman for validation and regression testing.
• Perform database testing using PostgreSQL, including data validation and integrity checks.

• Execute mobile application automation using Appium with intermediate level expertise.
• Work in Linux environments with basic to intermediate command line usage for testing and debugging activities.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues early and ensure smooth releases.
• Actively learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies as required by ongoing and future projects.
• Communicate test progress, risks, and quality metrics clearly to the team and management.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands on industry experience as an SQA / QA Engineer.
• Strong manual testing skills with proven real world experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for test automation and scripting.
• Hands on experience with Selenium/Playwright in practical project environments.
• Solid experience in API testing, with GraphQL [highly preferred]/Postman.
• Experience in PostgreSQL database testing.
• Intermediate knowledge of mobile automation using Appium.
• Basic to intermediate Linux usage knowledge for day to day testing operations.
• Strong willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly based on project requirements.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• JavaScript knowledge as an added advantage.
