Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer

Position: Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Lisbon

Hybrid: 2 times a week at the client’s office

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Mandatory Languages Required: and English (minimum B2) French (is a plus)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Data Scientist / ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy innovative AI and ML solutions. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, from Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to traditional ML techniques, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and impactful results.

• Develop and deploy ML/AI models tailored to business needs.

• Fine-tune and extend LLMs, apply RAG for optimized performance.
• Conduct data analysis and feature engineering.
• Build Generative AI solutions for automation and innovation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure quality through testing and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in ML, AI, and data science.
• Hands-on with LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG.
• Proficiency in Python (or similar).
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
