Role Overview
The Lead Network Security Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network security solutions to ensure the stability, performance, and security of corporate data, cloud, wireless, and voice networks. This role provides technical leadership in securing network infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and remote environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, secure, and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure across on-prem, cloud, and remote environments.
Install, configure, upgrade, and support firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, log servers, and related security technologies.
Manage and secure LAN/WAN networks, including routers, switches, VPNs, SD-WAN, VoIP, wireless, and cloud platforms.

Lead medium to large-scale network security projects, including implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentor team members, and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and service providers.
Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and enforce security policies and best practices.
Provide 24×7 on-call support and troubleshoot complex network security issues.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network and security engineering.
Strong expertise with Check Point security products, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, Tripwire, and centralized logging solutions.
Extensive experience managing enterprise networks using Cisco and/or Brocade switches and routers.
Solid experience working in Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments.
Proven background supporting complex network architectures in large corporate IT environments.
Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
Strong leadership, project management, and time management capabilities.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
