About the Role
We’re looking for a Design Lead to set the bar for all things creative at Parachute Studio. You’ll shape the look, feel, and voice of our work, mentor team members, and bring forward fresh ideas that help luxury brands shine. This is not just about making designs look good. It is about leading with strategy, story, and innovation.
We are seeking an experienced, conceptually-driven designer to join our tight-knit team. This role demands a versatile visual communicator who can explore and elevate ideas, translate abstract strategy into stunning visuals, and execute both big-picture design systems and daily deliverables with precision and creativity.
You’ll work alongside our Founders, strategists, and other designers to bring organizational identities to life across a wide range of media. From evolving early-stage concepts into refined visual executions, to crafting thoughtful brand systems, this role will put your full creative skillset to work.

They are a strong communicator, comfortable translating brand and design principles to clients in a clear, approachable way, and skilled at presenting and defending design decisions with confidence. This person naturally balances independence with collaboration, working seamlessly across teams while also stepping into leadership and mentorship roles as our design team grows. They bring a mix of strategic thinking, initiative, creativity, and people skills that make them just as effective in front of clients as they are guiding internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive visual identity systems, including logos, typography, color palettes, and layout styles, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Translate abstract ideas into concrete visuals while balancing creativity and functionality.
- Lead development of creative deliverables including brand identities, brand guidelines and systems, online advertising assets (static, animated, and video), promotional materials, website layouts and landing pages, branded social content, presentation decks, and more.
- Collaborate directly with clients, clearly communicating design principles, presenting concepts, and guiding them through the creative process.
- Direct and mentor the design team, providing feedback, guidance, and inspiration to ensure work meets the highest standards of creativity, quality, and brand alignment.
- Oversee consistency and brand integrity across all deliverables, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Manage and maintain design systems and assets, creating scalable processes and resources for future growth.
- Contribute to and refine internal design processes, introducing tools and practices that drive efficiency and innovation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging design practices, bringing fresh perspectives and forward-thinking ideas to client and internal work.
- Play an active role in the growth of Parachute Studio’s creative capabilities, helping to shape the future of the design team as it expands.
- Refine and iterate designs based on team and client feedback.
- Assist with other design-related tasks as needed.

Must-Haves (Don’t Apply Without These)
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva and Figma.
