Job Title: Instructional & Information Designer / Motion Designer
Type: Freelance, (40 hrs/week)
Start: ASAP
Length: 6+ months (extension based on performance)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based talent only)
Compensation: DOE
A fast-growing B2B tech company is seeking a dedicated Instructional & Information Designer / Motion Designer to transform complex technical concepts into clear, dynamic, visual storytelling. This role will focus on creating “show not tell” enablement materials (auto demos, tutorials, information graphics, animated architecture diagrams, explainer visuals, etc.) that help sales and internal teams communicate value more effectively.
You’ll partner closely with product marketing and content strategy stakeholders to take static, bullet-heavy assets and turn them into compelling, visual narratives that demonstrate how solutions work, where they fit, and how they solve real use cases.
What You’ll Be Doing:
· Translate complex technical B2B concepts into clear visual/instructional content (auto demos, tutorials, animated architecture diagrams, infographics, explainer visuals)

· Create dynamic enablement materials that “show” capabilities and use cases rather than just “tell” with bullets/slides
· Partner with stakeholders to visualize messaging, value propositions, and technical workflows
· Develop motion design elements to bring static assets to life (animations, transitions, explainer sequences)
· Ensure brand standards and consistency across all enablement visuals
· Iterate quickly based on feedback from stakeholders and leadership
· Help provide dedicated capacity for high-priority visual storytelling needs
Must-Haves (Don’t Apply Without These):
· 5–8+ years of experience in instructional/information design, motion design, or visual storytelling for enterprise B2B/tech/SaaS environments
· Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear visuals (demos, tutorials, architecture diagrams, infographics)
· Strong motion design skills (animation, transitions, explainer sequences)
· Deep experience working in large, matrixed tech companies (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce, Meta, Adobe, similar enterprise platforms)

· Proficiency in design/motion tools (Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Figma, Premiere, etc.)
· Legally authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship available)
You’ll Stand Out If You…
· Have worked in enterprise SaaS or platform technologies and understand sales enablement motions
· Excel at “show not tell” storytelling for technical audiences (sales decks, battle cards, discovery assets)
· Are comfortable in fast-moving, high-output environments with tight feedback loops
· Bring regionalization/geo-fencing awareness (bonus, not priority)
· Are open to a long-term permanent opportunity if the fit is exceptional (contract-to-hire path available)
This role is dedicated freelance (40 hrs/week) with strong potential for contract-to-hire conversion to full-time after the initial 3–6 months, based on performance and business needs. Competitive hourly rate, fully remote (US-based), and the opportunity to directly impact how a leading tech company equips its teams to communicate value and win.
If this sounds like a fit, please apply directly or reach out to discuss!
