Role Overview
We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures across enterprise and cloud environments. This role focuses on Zero Trust principles, cloud security, and modern network defense technologies, while supporting risk management, compliance, and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, including:
- Email security and data loss prevention (DLP) technologies
- Public cloud security controls
- Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions
- DDoS mitigation and Web Application Firewall (WAF) platforms
- Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and network detection and response tools
- Assess and document network security architectures, providing recommendations aligned with industry best practices
- Define, review, and enforce security policies governing access to systems and resources
- Administer firewalls, VPNs, and network security monitoring tools
- Apply Zero Trust principles to control and segment network access
- Develop and maintain security configuration baselines to harden systems
- Automate security and infrastructure tasks to improve operational efficiency
- Support audits, compliance efforts, and enterprise risk initiatives
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Network Security Engineering role
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, DDoS/WAF technologies, intrusion prevention, and ZTNA
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing)
- Experience securing public cloud environments
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS, OWASP)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
