The HR team is looking for an HR Payroll Expert: reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the new colleague will be responsible for the execution of all personnel administrative tasks to deliver an efficient and accurate payroll cycle process, in line with the legislative requirements, the policies, internal rules, and guidelines of the Foundation.
This role is designed to offer professional growth through training, mentoring, and dedicated learning opportunities, aimed at enabling the development of the skills required to potentially coordinate the HR Operations function.
Your Mission
- Accountable for payroll processes ensuring that employees' salaries are paid correctly and on schedule, under the supervision of the HR Operations Manager
- Liaising with the payroll provider/labour consultant for the tasks related to the administrative management for pension and healthcare funds, fringe benefits and tax benefits and related topics;
- Supporting the Finance Area – Accounting Service in performing account balance and payroll reconciliations;
- Collaborate with and support the Finance department in the forecasting and budgeting process and in managing the accounting of personnel costs
- Support day-to-day personnel administration across all staff categories, ensuring compliance with labor laws, CLAs, and internal HR policies.
- Assist in managing the employee lifecycle (onboarding, contract updates, offboarding) and maintain accurate HR records and dashboards to support workforce planning.
- Contribute to the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors), ensuring data accuracy and security.

Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience as HR Payroll officer or related ones
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll systems, and HR policies.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and knowledge of HRIS systems.
- Good knowledge both of Italian and English – HT is an international institute
- Knowledge of the CCNL Industria Chimica–Chimico Farmaceutica and Dirgenti Industria, the related category Funds and labor regulations;
- Knowledge of the fiscal and social security aspects for inpatriates related to international mobility (Italian and foreign employees);
- Experience in a research institute and/or in a start-up environment or in payroll services provider companies
- Working experience with SAP
- Attention to Detail & Analytical Skills: Ensures accuracy across administrative and payroll activities and translates HR data into actionable insights.
- Organizational Skills: Manages multiple processes efficiently, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
- Collaboration & Communication: Builds effective relationships with stakeholders and communicates complex information clearly.
- Process Standardization: Supports the consistent application and improvement of HR policies and practices across the organization.

Salary: up to € 45.000,00 depending on the candidate’ seniority.
