Redwood Automation Developer

We are looking for an external contractor to independently design, configure, and implement finance automation use cases on the Redwood platform, integrating with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC) to modernize Record-to-Report and accounting processes.

Tasks:

• Redwood development & configuration: Configure processes, chains, data transformers, and tables; develop automation logic using Orchestrator, Runner, Workbench; implement rules with REL/JavaScript; customize components for finance use cases (e.g. journal entries, intercompany).
• System integration & data processing: Set up technical connections to ERP systems; develop ETL logic for ERP and external data; perform basic front-end tasks for Redwood interfaces using HTML/CSS.
• Quality assurance & documentation: Prepare and execute technical test scripts; analyze and fix defects during SIT and UAT; create and maintain technical documentation; provide technical recommendations for further automation opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Redwood (Orchestrator, Runner, Workbench, Finance Automation components).
• Solid understanding of finance processes, especially Record-to-Report (R2R) and accounting workflows.
• Experience integrating with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
• Proficiency in scripting and logic building using REL and JavaScript.
• Experience with ETL development and data processing from ERP or external sources.
• Basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS) for Redwood UI components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in SIT/UAT defect analysis.
• Ability to work independently as an external consultant, delivering complete technical solutions.
• Clear technical documentation skills and structured working style.
• Fluent English for communication and documentation.
