Senior MRI Engineer (f/m/d)
- Starting date: As soon as possible
- Yearly Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 (fixed range, annual gross)
- Stock Options: €20,000 - €40,000

We are looking for a Senior MRI Engineer to develop solutions that enable the next generation of our AI-powered MRI solutions to become more automated, efficient and scalable. As a part of the Imaging team, you use your expertise in MRI and your excellent problem-solving skills to lead the development of software tools and features that will enhance the next generation of our products.
Your day to day
Role
The role of an MRI Senior engineer is broad and dependent on the application and team. Your daily activities will include:
- Collaboration as a part of an interdisciplinary team, contributing with your expertise in MRI and software knowledge
- Lead the full development lifecycle MRI automation features.
- Integration of MRI hardware into our product lines
- Contribute in the development of novel imaging applications
- Develop automation processes to control and monitor MRI systems in production
- Develop solutions for MRI software releases, installations and system reliability

- Background MRI physics (6+ years, ideally with PhD)
- Experience in MRI acquisition and knowledge of advanced pulse sequences
- Knowledge of MRI reconstruction concepts, including common MRI data formats
- Hands-on experience integrating external software or hardware with MR systems.
- You have experience writing software in Python.
- You have experience developing code collaboratively using version control.
- You appreciate the value of best practices for high-quality production code.
Engineering Focused
- You have a keen interest in software development
- Experience with common python development tools
- You have an understanding of the principles of clean code
- You have experience with working with continuous integration.
- You have experience with working with common python libraries for science and image processing (numpy, scipy, pydicom, etc.)
- You proactively identify strategic opportunities for product and process improvement, owning the execution required to drive this change.
- You are an efficient learner who can build deep knowledge fast.
