Job Description:

Role Summary:

Senior backend C#.NET developer with 10+ years of enterprise application development experience, partnering with cross-functional IT delivery teams to design, develop, test, and deploy secure, high-quality backend solutions. Acts as a technical lead, translating business and regulatory requirements into scalable APIs, batch processes, and data transformation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET APIs and backend services using JSON and XML payloads
• Build complex data transformations with inputs/outputs in JSON, XML, CSV, and fixed-width formats
• Develop and execute C# batch processes and console applications
• Design and optimize MS SQL Server solutions, including complex stored procedures (DDL/DML)
• Lead integration efforts with enterprise and third-party systems (e.g., Itron Temetra)

• Author and maintain technical specifications, data mappings, and ETL documentation
• Perform advanced testing, debugging, and performance tuning of backend processes
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive data and compliance with corporate security standards
• Design and manage deployment processes, environment promotions, and production cutovers
• Collaborate with UX, business analysts, project managers, and product owners to deliver solutions
• Promote coding standards, GitHub best practices (pull requests), and technical excellence
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in C#/.NET backend development
• Expert proficiency in API development and consumption using JSON and XML
• Strong experience with data transformation and batch processing
• Advanced MS SQL Server development and architecture knowledge
• Enterprise-level experience with GitHub and CI/CD practices
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills
