Job Description
Infosys is seeking an Oracle Apps and DB Administrator. This includes tasks like installing, maintaining and configuring databases, backup and recovery, DR, user management, patching, security configuration and providing technical support for releases and deployments. Additionally, proficiency in scripting languages is required, along with automating tasks working on Linux OS and exposure to middleware technologies. The selected candidate must be able to support tickets, manage and/or open new Oracle Service Requests (SR’s) as per customer requirements. The selected candidate will focus on Client SLA’s, reduce downtime and may need to work in shifts while supporting tickets.
Required Qualifications
- Location for this position is Raleigh, NC, Indianapolis, IN, Phoenix AZ, Richardson, TX or Hartford CT. This position may require relocation and/or travel to client/project location.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
- 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
- 3+ years of experience as EBS administration and monitoring EBS apps on Oracle database.
