About the Role
- We are looking for a skilled External Links & Secure Access Engineer to join the team and support BAU External Links services as well as Next Generation Firewall services.
- This position is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience in networking, security, and telecom environments who is ready to take responsibility for key technical services.
- The role offers flexibility with full remote work, with only occasional on‑site presence (approximately once per month).
Key Responsibilities v
- Deliver BAU (Business-As-Usual) support for External Links services.
- Provide operational support for Next Generation Firewall services.
- Execute assigned tasks with high quality and reliability.
- Support DNS infrastructure and troubleshoot related issues.
- Apply deep knowledge of standard application protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, etc.).
- Use Python scripting/automation to optimize daily operations.
- Work within ITIL-based processes, maintaining clear documentation and structure.
- Manage workload under time pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in DNS (Primary Technology, Telecom Skill Area).
- Advanced proficiency with Firewalls (Secondary Technology).
- 2–3 years of practical experience in networking/security roles.
- Strong networking/security expertise at CCNP-equivalent level.
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP.
- Good knowledge of Linux OS.
- Python scripting knowledge (automation principles).
- Familiarity with standard application protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, etc.
