We’re seeking a skilled Security professional with 4+ years of experience in enterprise account provisioning, access administration, and security best practices. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams and agencies. This person thrives in a highly regulated environment, maintains strict adherence to security standards, and provides exceptional customer service while protecting sensitive systems.
This role requires a Wisconsin resident or someone willing to relocate to WI before starting (relocation at the candidate’s expense). The first day will be onsite for equipment pickup, with remote work thereafter.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all account provisioning, de‑provisioning, maintenance, and related projects across DOC platforms and applications.
- Grant and revoke access to applications, servers, group folders, and systems using established security rules.
- Create and maintain security rules that enforce DOC security standards and policies.
- Create and manage email accounts, distribution lists, and group mailboxes.
- Provide timely responses and resolutions to user access requests and issues.
- Inform customers about security procedures and identify areas where additional training is needed.
- Coordinate account management activities across multiple agencies when required.
- Recommend updates and improvements to procedural documentation.
- Participate in application/system integration planning, testing, and access troubleshooting.
- Assist in implementing department-wide IT security policies, standards, and awareness training.
- Liaise with other agencies to resolve security-related issues.
- Provide information for LAB, DOJ, and other required audits.
- Recommend automation of manual security procedures and support cybersecurity initiatives.
- Monitor, audit, and analyze security systems to identify issues or risks.
- Advise management on security system improvements, monitoring, and risk mitigation.
- Identify threats or user access issues introduced by new software or systems.
- Conduct security audits and help leadership reduce and mitigate organizational risk.
- Perform special assignments, including identifying process improvements, auditing user access levels, updating staff development plans, and attending training or conferences.
- Support internal systems such as WICS, DEVSECOPS, email platforms, and EMR systems, including performing audits and assigning back-end security rights.

Qualifications:
- Experience with account provisioning, de‑provisioning, maintenance, and access control for enterprise applications.
- Experience applying and managing security rules for user access to systems, servers, and folders.
- Experience coordinating projects and activities within account management teams.
- Experience creating and enforcing security rules aligned with standards and policies.
- Knowledge of Windows network environments and advanced proficiency with Active Directory and group permissions.
- Experience with LDAP and application security in intranet/internet environments.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work independently.
- Customer‑focused approach while ensuring strict compliance with security policies.
- Experience with security techniques, tools, and infrastructure.
- Project planning experience and the ability to create effective security roles.

This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
