Akkodis is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for our Contract Position (12+ Months) role with remote job opportunity.

Pay Range: $60/hr. to $75/hr. on w2. (The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description:

Embedded Software Engineer with hands-on experience supporting DO-178C–compliant software development across the full software development lifecycle in aerospace and avionics environments. Strong background in C and C++ embedded development on Unix/Linux-based operating systems, delivering reliable, certifiable software solutions for safety-critical systems.

Experienced working with FACE Architectures, including Transport Services Segment (TSS) and I/O Services Segment (IOSS), as well as ARINC 653–based environments. Skilled in data loading and packaging (Loadable Software Airplane Parts), digital signature certificate signing, TFTP-based transfers, and static code analysis to support certification and deployment requirements.
