Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a DevSecOps Engineer, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and upgrading infrastructure components and supporting cutting-edge AI aerospace technology. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate with a small, dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance tasks including upgrading Kubernetes, GitLab on self-hosted instances, and databases as needed.
- Manage infrastructure by overseeing the Kubernetes cluster, optimizing resource allocation, and transitioning applications from Digital Ocean to Amazon EC2.
- Conduct reviews to identify potential improvements and simplifications within the infrastructure.
- Evaluate financial operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, GitLab, and AWS Cloud.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud technologies.
- Proven experience in upgrading Kubernetes and GitLab.
- Experience in transitioning applications between platforms.
- Python programming skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.00/hr.
