We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our clients technical team. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining software tools and automation scripts that support our data processing, research workflows, and production systems. This role is ideal for candidates who have strong scripting experience in Unix/Linux environments and enjoy working on performance-focused, high-impact engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and implement custom scripts, rules, and APIs using Python and C-Shell to extend CPQ functionality

· Build and optimize applications and utilities using Python.

· Translate legacy C-shell scripts and pipelines into modern, maintainable Python code where appropriate.

· Debug, profile, and improve performance of shell- and Python-based workflows in Linux/Unix environments.

· Ensure code quality through version control, testing, and documentation.

Required Skills

· Strong programming skills in Python, C-Shell scripting and SQL

· Hands on experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and OAuth-based authentication.

· Solid understanding of Unix/Linux systems, command-line tools, and shell environments.

· Experience with Git or other version control systems.

· Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
