Company Stage of Funding: Venture-backed (Series A)

Office Type: Onsite (5 days/week, with some flexibility for the right candidate)

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 base + equity + benefits

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and optimize applied AI systems used in real-world, customer-facing products
• Develop and iterate on multi-agent architectures that are reliable, scalable, and production-ready
• Own AI features end-to-end, from early prototypes to polished production releases
• Work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to ensure seamless integration of AI into the user experience

• Tackle ambiguity head-on and drive projects from 0 → 1 in a fast-moving startup environment
• Contribute across the stack as needed to bring features fully to life
• Continuously evaluate new AI techniques and tools to improve system reliability and performance
  
  

Ideal Candidate Background

• Several years of professional experience as a software engineer with hands-on applied AI work
• Strong understanding of LLM behavior, limitations, and practical strategies for improving reliability
• Experience building and shipping full-stack or backend-heavy systems in production environments
• Comfort working in fast-paced startup settings with a high degree of ownership
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and collaborate cross-functionally
• Passion for building high-quality, customer-impacting products rather than experimental research projects
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-agent systems, prompt or context engineering, or AI orchestration frameworks
• Background working with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript) and backend systems
