Junior Full-Stack Developer

About the Role

We're looking for a junior developer to join our small technical team, working across three financial services businesses: igi Fund Managers, afx Hedge Fund, and afx Markets. You'll report to our Technical Operations Manager and be involved in full-stack development work across a variety of internal systems.

This is a generalist role. You'll work on whatever needs building, fixing, or improving across our platforms, from trading infrastructure to fund management systems. No two weeks will look the same.

You don't need to know all of these coming in, but you should be comfortable picking up new technologies quickly.

What We're Looking For

•       Programming ability in at least one language (TypeScript preferred, but we'll consider strong candidates from other backgrounds)

•       Problem-solving instincts and the ability to work things out independently

•       Willingness to learn and adapt

•       Good communication skills

AI-Assisted Development

We use AI tools as part of our development workflow. You'll be trained on how to work effectively with AI assistants to accelerate your development work. Being open to this way of working is important.
