Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Manufacturing Facility based in Paris, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background developing, installing, and operating quality systems for controlling incoming material, in-process parts, and finished products. NAL will provide relocation assistance to anyone outside of the Southern Illinois Area.


Your Priorities

While working within the fast paced, automotive environment, you will prepare advanced quality planning documents and participate in quality planning activities, including FMEA’s, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Charts, and Gage R&R and capability studies

Create necessary documentation for customer initial sample submissions, including AQP, customer documents, and any other required documentation

Travel to customer facilities to participate in all phases of the customer’s launch activities including component review team meetings, assembly trials, and SOP activities

Coordinate the resolution of quality issues and implementation of countermeasures with other NAL departments and suppliers

Perform technical and statistical investigations and implementation of countermeasures with other NAL departments and suppliers

Salary Range: $60,000 - $78,000


Your Background

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering plus 0 to 2 years of related manufacturing experience OR

Bachelor’s Degree plus 1-3 years of related manufacturing experience
