The United States Space Force (USSF) at Wright-Patterson Space Force Base, OH is searching for a Principal Intelligence Analyst to support 4 IAS (GG-0132-14). Description: The 4th Intelligence Analysis Squadron at the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) is seeking an individual to serve as the Principal Intelligence Analyst (PIA) and subject matter expert engaged in the technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from multiple intelligence sources in support of customer requirements. Provides/enables integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to collect, process, exploit, and disseminate (PED) accurate and timely information that provides the battle space awareness necessary to combatant commanders and other customers to successfully plan and conduct operations. The GEOINT Terrestrial Imaging Flight leverages all available sources of GEOINT to obtain intelligence on space threats to include: space ground networks, space information warfare, and counterspace systems to inform warfighters, force modernizers, and policymakers. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities, new hypotheses and theories, and threat assessments. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detail analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources. Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes. Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or justify a position effectively. Requirements: 1. Must be a U.S Citizen. 2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret / SCI security clearance. 3. Safeguards classified or sensitive budget-related information and/or files. 4. May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis. 5. Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed “Unscheduled Telework”. 6. This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first. 7. Employee may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments. 8. PCS / Relocation funding is authorized. 9. This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.
