Junior Python Software Engineer

Our focus is on developing the very best mobile and web applications and building long-term relationships with our clients. We are currently looking for a Junior Python Software Engineer to add to our growing team.

Job Description

The Junior Python/Django Developer is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using the Python programming language and Django framework. This role requires a basic understanding of Python and Django, web development principles, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient Python code.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best coding practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Python, Django, and web development.

Requirements

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Python development.
• Basic understanding of Django and familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other Python frameworks (e.g., Flask).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Basic understanding of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
