Job Description
Brighture is building real-world industrial automation systems, including automated packaging line equipment and next-generation AMR / AGV solutions for manufacturing and logistics environments in the U.S.
We are currently at a deployment and execution stage. This role is focused on making existing systems stable, reliable, and deliverable in real customer environments — not on research or algorithm development from scratch.
This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys system ownership, debugging real-world issues, and turning working prototypes into production-ready systems.
Core Focus Areas (Very Important)
This role focuses on three core application-level systems:
• Navigation system usage and optimization (not algorithm development)
• Multi-AGV task scheduling and coordination
• Central control / orchestration system (task lifecycle, state machine, recovery)
What You Will Do
• Own application-level system behavior of AMR / AGV deployments
• Work with existing navigation systems (ROS2 / Nav2 or commercial stacks):
 - Parameter tuning
 - Field adaptation

• Own central control logic, including:
 - Task lifecycle management
 - System state machines
 - Error handling and recovery strategies
• Debug failures across navigation, scheduling, control, hardware, and networking boundaries
• Build observability: structured logs, metrics, alerts, and diagnostics for long-running systems
• Collaborate closely with PLC / controls engineers, hardware teams, and operations
What This Role Is Not
• Not a research or academic role
• Not a SLAM, perception, or algorithm-only position
• Not focused on simulation, papers, or benchmarks
