Salary Range: $250,000-$260,000 plus performance-based bonus

Reporting Mode: 100% Remote - flexibility to travel to Boston headquarters

We are performing an Executive Search nationwide for a Vice President of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for our healthcare client headquartered in Massachusetts. The Vice President of AI will be the visionary across the organization, championing and building capabilities across an already high-impact portfolio of clinical software and analytics product offerings. We are seeking a leader with proven experience in harnessing the capabilities of Agentic AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning into revolutionizing existing software product lines. The Vice President will own and is responsible to ensure the AI and new technology goals of the organization are achieved and achieved rapidly. This role reports directly into the C-suite. The VP manages two direct reports within a lean organization while partnering with an AI solutions provider.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate brings a strong educational background in information technology, computer science or technical product management and 10+ years driving enterprise technology initiatives across all business units with at least 5 years of experience in AI/ML, including experience as a Senior Director or Vice President driving enterprise-scale AI initiatives in healthcare or a highly regulated environment. They possess expertise in Agentic AI, Generative AI and modern AI/ML stacks—including LLMs, cloud platforms, MLOps, and data architecture—along with a solid understanding of regulations, security, and ethical AI practices. The ideal candidate will already have proven experience driving adoption of AI Agents, Automation and chatbots. This individual is a strategic, hands-on leader with a proven ability to scale AI solutions to production with a lean team, communicate complex concepts, manage cross-functional teams and internal/external partners, and lead organizational change with diplomacy. Effective communication with the Executive Team is a must.
