Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) | Remote | LATAM | Full-time
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team and help build scalable, reliable, and high-quality software through strong test automation practices.
This is a 100% remote, full-time opportunity, open to candidates located in Latin America.
What you´ll do
- Design and build test automation frameworks from the ground up (UI and API)
- Maintain, improve, and scale existing automation suites
- Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams across multiple products
- Define what to automate and at which level (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Provide teams with effective testing tools to ensure high-quality releases
- Increase team confidence in automation as part of the SDLC
- Prioritize automation efforts based on business value
- Solve complex testing challenges with creative and innovative solutions
- Assist with building and maintaining testing environments
- Research and evaluate new testing tools and technologies
- Mentor junior testers and other Software Engineers in Test
- Support manual testing efforts when business priorities require it

What you need to have
- 5+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing / Test Automation
- Strong experience building automation frameworks for UI and APIs
- Solid programming skills (Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar)
- Experience testing web applications
- Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of testing principles and automation best practices
- Ability to analyze products and identify scenarios suitable for automation
- Experience working with SQL
- Experience with Git and version control tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
