E-commerce Designer (UI/UX)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an E-commerce Designer (UI/UX) in Switzerland.

In this role, you will design high-performing e-commerce experiences with a strong focus on conversion, usability, and visual craft. You will work hands-on across the full design lifecycle, transforming business and marketing goals into intuitive, production-ready Shopify experiences. Collaborating closely with developers and marketing stakeholders, you will shape user journeys that drive engagement and sales. This position requires a deep understanding of online buying behavior and the ability to balance creativity with performance-driven design. Operating in a fully remote, international environment, you will have real ownership over design quality and impact.

Accountabilities

• Design conversion-focused Shopify experiences from concept to final UI, covering homepage, collection, and product pages
• Create clear, effective UX flows aligned with business objectives and marketing strategies
• Produce marketing visuals, promotional banners, and supporting assets across digital channels
• Design email layouts and visuals that remain consistent with website branding and user experience
• Build, maintain, and evolve scalable design systems and components in Figma
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented
• Iterate designs based on feedback, performance insights, and optimization goals
• Clearly articulate design decisions, UX rationale, and conversion logic to stakeholders
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or e-commerce design, with a strong focus on conversion-driven work
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including UX flows, components, auto-layout, and design systems
• Proven experience designing e-commerce websites, ideally on Shopify
• Solid understanding of online purchasing journeys, usability principles, and CRO fundamentals
• Excellent eye for layout, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to create original design concepts without reliance on templates or UI kits
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Comfort with feedback, iteration, and fast-paced project environments
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end e-commerce and UI/UX design work
