Company Overview

We are a privately held, full service X Ray equipment and medical supply distributor with more than 42 years in business and over 1,000 installations completed, primarily in Southern California. We proudly supply more than 1,000 imaging centers and medical facilities locally and nationwide. As we continue expanding, we are seeking an experienced leader who can elevate our sales organization and strengthen our presence across multiple product lines and markets.


Position Summary

The Director of Sales and Marketing will oversee all company sales functions, manage and grow a high performing sales team, and drive overall revenue growth. This individual will lead day to day sales operations, manage their own portfolio of accounts, design and implement training programs, and execute the company’s marketing strategy. This role reports directly to senior leadership and is a key contributor to long term strategic planning.


A strong background in medical supplies or pharmaceutical sales is required. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of scaling sales organizations, growing revenue, and building strong customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Leadership:

• Lead, manage, and grow the sales team across all product categories

• Drive revenue growth and expand market share

• Manage an assigned book of business while supporting team members during key negotiations

• Establish monthly and annual sales targets for the company and for each team member

• Develop and refine sales strategies, processes, and performance benchmarks

• Implement training and development programs for all sales personnel

• Recruit, hire, and onboard additional sales representatives

• Oversee capital equipment sales and assist with contract structuring and closures

• Track and report key performance metrics to leadership


Marketing Oversight:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals

• Manage marketing staff and associated resources

• Expand the company’s eCommerce and online business channels

• Create marketing initiatives that support sales growth and customer engagement

• Develop promotional strategies and sales enablement materials


Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of sales and marketing experience in medical supplies or pharmaceuticals

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems, data analysis, and sales reporting tools

• Effective problem solving abilities and a high level of strategic thinking

• Highly organized with strong long range planning capabilities

• Ability to travel up to 25 percent with the sales team

• Comfortable working in a fast paced, growth oriented environment
